. . . the year Johnny Williams formed the Jeanette Williams Band. He and Jeanette were married in 1991. Johnny Williams also writes original material for the band. He was the 1998 and 1999 bluegrass division winner of the “Chris Austin Songwriting Contest” at Merlefest.

. . . the year Kathy Chiavola was voted “Outstanding Background Vocalist” in the Nashville Music Awards.

. . . the age when Andy Leftwich began fiddling. He began writing songs when he was 12, which is also the age when he put out his 1st solo record with just guitar and fiddle.
