April 1, 2004 is Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver’s 25th Anniversary Show. At least 9 former Quicksilver members are reuniting to play together.

1983 Eric and Leigh Gibson started playing and singing together. The brothers were raised on a family farm in Ellenburg Depot, near the Canadian border of northeastern New York.

1997 was the first year the band Alternate Roots, who Randy Pasley plays Dobro and sings for, came together. They have released three CDs

10 years ago the all girls bluegrass band New Girls Nite Out was formed.

25 times last year Vernon McCloud, husband of Nancy McCloud from New Girls Nite Out, dressed up like a mule on stage to accompany a song for the band. He also has donned an inflatable cow costume 10 times because the girls added a new song.

$2,500 was raised at the 4th Annual Bluegrass Benefit Concert for the Homeless, along with 1000 combs and 1 SUV full of new underwear.
