The Davis Brothers have a reputation for innovation. Between them, they’ve invented a new flatpicking technique, a monster seven-string banjo, and a mysterious contraption called “The Brad Bender.” Since their first professional gig as 14-yearolds at The Great Vine Opry, paying five dollars a piece, the Davis brothers have come a long way. Greg is a successful banjo session player, who has worked with John Randall, Billy Bob Thornton, and Rodney Crowell. His younger brother, Brad, is a Grammy-winning guitarist who has recorded with Johnny Cash, Earl Scruggs, and Emmylou Harris.
